Kumamoto castle is the most famous sightseeing spot in Kumamoto. It was built 400 years ago. I think i is nice but I recommend Mt. Aso, too! There are many interesting spots in Aso. It has the biggest caldera all over the world. Mt. Aso is a good place to drive, so not only tourists but also the people of a prefecture go there to drive. I drive there if I have a free time.
There is Mt. Tawara next to the Mt. Aso. I like there, too. There is a ice cream shop I like.
