In 1956, a young man called Elvis Plesley made a record that changed the history of music. Where he started, others followed: Bob Dylan and the Beatles, Madonna and Nirvana.
Today pop is big business. People spend 35 billion dollars on records every year.

I often listened some songs of EXILE, HY, and GReeeen these days.

My favorite song of EXILE is "Lovers again", the one of HY is "NAO", and the one of GReeeen is "ai-uta".

These songs make me sad, but they are very nice!

I went out with my friend last week. He picked me up and drove around. We listened to the music which he recommended. Then, we ate yakiniku. It was nice. After that, we went to the restaurant to get just tapioca drink. Every Thursday, we can buy them half price at the store. Then, we went to karaoke. We used to go to karaoke last year. He can sing a song powerfully. We had a very good time at karaoke. Then, it was about 12:00a.m., we drove around a little and went back home. We talked a lot and he made me happy. I and my boyfriend broke up few weeks ago, but thanks to him, I could smile. So I appreciate him very much.

There are a lot of natures in Kumamoto. The water and the air are very clean. I have many favorite places in Kumamoto. For example, Kumamoto castle, Suizenji park, and Mt. Aso! I often go to Mt. Aso with my friends. It makes me relax. Kumamoto castle is build by Kiyomasa Kato about 400 years sgo. When I was in Junior high school, I went to Kumamoto castle and draw it. And in spring, we can see many beautiful carry blossoms. I like nature, but I also like downtown.(89 words)

I went to a shopping mall with my family last week. The shopping mall iis next to my house, so we went to there by walk. My father and my mother looked their under wear, and my sister and I looked sosme clothes. I went to the shop which sell many hats, or caps. There is a nice guy in the shop! Actually, this is why I went to the shop! I looked some knit caps but didn't buy anything, I just talked with him. Then, I want to rest, so sat a bench and drunk tea. After that, my sister bought a knit clothes. And, we looked around food area. My father and I looked alcoholic drink because we like it very much.

I read the book written about Julia Roberts.

She is beautiful, smart, and a famous actress.

She was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1967. She has a elder brother, Eric, and a younger sisiter, Lisa. Julia's father and mother, Walter and Betty, loves the theater. They start a school for young actors in Atlanta. They work all day and night, but they have never much money.
In 1972, Walter and Betty get a divorce. Julia and Lisa live with her mother and Eric live with his father. Then, in 1977, their father dies.

In 1989, she starts Flatliners and fall in love with Kiefer Sutherland. But she stops the wedding with him and gets a new boyfriend, Jason Patric.
In 1991, she makes three movies. Sleeping with the Enemy is a big hit, but Dying Young and Hook are not. Steven Spielberg, who in the director of Hook says, 'I can't work with Julia Robarts again.' Julia stops work for about two years.

But in 1993, Julia is back! She is in The Pelican Brief. This movie is a big hit and makes $200,000,000. She meets a new boyfriend, Lyle Lovett and they are marries. In 1995, however, they divorce.

People like Julia Roberts in smart love stories. In 1997, she makes My Best Wedding and meets new boyfriend. Then she marries Daniel Moder but it is only ten months.

In 2001, she gets Academy Awards for a role in Erin Brockovitch.
Her superstar smile makes everyone happy now!

Part-time Job

I went to part-time job today. I went UNIQLO at about 7:30 a.m. today. The store opens at 10:00 a.m. but we have to prepare many clothes and clean before the store open.
We had a lot of resonable clothes or goods on this weekend, so there are many many many costomers!! Parking area was always full!!
I was tired but I like to work at busy time^_^v

And then, I went to youme town.
But I didn't buy anything....

I like sweets very much. Especially, I like chocolate. Sometimes I make chocolate cake or some chocolate sweets for my own, my family, or my friends. I made some chocolate sweets for my boyfriend last month because that day was our anniversary. He seemed to be happy, so I feel happy, too. I like many kinds of drink, for example, coffee, tea, and juice. Especially I like coffee. When I went to America, my favorite coffee shop was CARIBOU COFFEE. It serves very nice coffee, so I bought some coffee for my mother. My mother likes coffee, too. (98 words)

I read 'OXFORD'.

Oxford is one of the most famous city in the world and it is also one of the most oldest university in England.

Oxford is 90 kilometres from London, it takes about one hour by car, train, or bus. More than 110,000 people live in Oxford.

The city is an important center for work, shopping, and nightlife. But people from all over the world, and from different parts of Britain, come to Oxford to see some beatiful buildings, the musiums, and the parks and the gardens. Oxford is a very interesting city. Many visiters live Oxford.

October 6

I went to PARCO with my friends. There are many new shops in PARCO. First, we looked key case and my friends bought them. Second, we looked some clothes. All of us wanted to buy one-piece dress. My friend bought it and another clothes, and I bought one-piece dress.

We went to DAIMONJI to eat okonomiyaki. We can make okonomiyaki by ourselves there, so it was fun and good.

From 17:30, I went to part-time job. It was not busy today, so we could finish our job earlyer. After the job, I and another friends talked a lot.

I had a very good time today.

PARFAIT

I went to clair with Yukari and Syoichiro. We went to UNIQLO and some other shops. And then, we went to cats cafe to eat parfait. I ate chocolate cake parfait. It was very good!

Next, we looked some shops again, and went to TSUTAYA. I and Yukari bought CDs.

We had a good time. At about 6:00p.m., Syoichiro went back home because he had to go to dance party, so Yukari and I went to YORU CAFE. I ate pasta for dinner. It was very nice. We talked about our life or something and we had a good time!

I have wii, which is very popular TV game. My friend gave me it about 10 months ago.
I played Super Paper Mario with my family last week. I had a good time. We can play another games such as tennis, baseball, or golf. If you want to do this, please come to my home!

I read 'CALIFORNIA'.
California is called 'The Golden State'. California became state in 1850, two years after winning it from Mexico in the Mexican-American War. People came to California to find gold many years ago.

There are many good place to see and very big cities such as San Diego, Los Angels, Hollywood, and San Francisco in California. Disneyland is in Los Angels, and we can see a lot of surfers there. There is a Chinatown in San francisco. By 1850 there were about 4,000 Chinese people living in San francisco. many more came to work in the gold mines, and to build a railway. Today, people come from Japan, Korea, and Vietnam, as well as China. There are also many National Parks, such as Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Park, Kings Canyon National Park.

I want to visit California someday!
