It was very good for me to post on my blog because blogging makes progress with my English and typing skill. Blogging also helps me to tell my friends some daily events, news, or my thoughts. I enjoyed seeing some comments which my friends wrote and posting some comments on my friends' blogs. When my friend who is an American and lives in America saw and commented on my blog, I was surprised and very happy.
In this semester, I tried to post with pictures as many as I can. I can tell the things easily by posting with pictures. I think that people who see my blog can enjoy seeing with them.
I want to develop my English and typing skill, so I'll continue blogging in future.

In Japan, on Saint Valentine's Day, many women give some chocolates to someone who is a boyfriend, a senior, or any other man. These days, some women who have no boyfriend can enjoy Saint Valentine's Day. They make or buy a chocolate and give it to their friends. It is called tomo-choco. But it makes me more lonely, I think....

I went out with my friend yesterday. First, we went to STARBUCKS COFFEE. We drink a cup of coffee and ate a cake. It was so good♪　I love coffee and sweets! Second, we went to TSUTAYA. Trip to Kansai

I want to go to Kyoto during spring vacation.

Kyoto is one of the most famous and big city in Japan but I have never been to Kyoto, so I want to visit there.

I want to trip alone. I'll feel lonely but it'll also make me grow.

I want to visit Kobe and osaka, too. My cousin lives Osaka and my friend lives Kobe. I'm going to ask them about sights or good stores and restaurants.

Ouchi Cafe

I went to Ouchi Cafe with Yukari and Shoichiro on last Friday.
I and Yukari went to see the result of internship. I'll experience the real job in Nissenren tours and Yukari will in TOYOTA which is a car company.
Then, we walked together and met Shoichiro. Yukari said "I want to go to Ouchi cafe!" So, we went there. Ouchi cafe is in front of KGU. She ate carry and rice and I ate a durian. It was good.
After eating, we studied a little. I had a good time with them.

Harazuru Onsen

I went to Fukuoka with my family yesterday. We went to Taisenkaku which is one of the Japanese style hotel in Harazuru and held golden wedding anniversary of my grandparents.
We got up early and left Kumamoto in the morning. It was raining. My father drove high way and arrived Harazuru hot spring at about 11:00. There were grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We ate, drunk and talked. I saw some pictures of my cousin's picture which were taken on Coming of Age Day. His hakama was very nice.
After eating, we enjoyed hot spring. It made us so relax. After taking bath, we ate ice cream. We had a very good time yeaterday.

I went to Tosu, Saga yesterday. I wanted to visit my grandparents. It was first time to ride on a limited express, so I was little nervous. I was listening to music and useing cell phone during riding to Tosu.

I went to the cake shop wich is famous in Kikuyo. I went there with my coworker after the part-time job. We orderd three cakes and two drinks, and shared three cakes. We ate and talked a lot. I put on a long sleeved kimono on Coming of Age Day. I woke up at about 5:00 a.m. I was very sleepy. I went to the kimono shop and I out on long sleeved kimono, made up, and made my hair set. I enjoyed it. Then I went back home and took pictures with my family. And after that, I went to the Kumamoto city gymnasium. I met a lot of my friends and took many pictures with them. I was very happy to met my friends. At evening, I went to the hotel with my old friend to participate in a alumni meeting of Sakurayama junior high school. I met a lot of my friends there again. We ate and drunk a lot. And I met my teachers there. I enjoyed drinking with my teachers. Then we moved to downtown. (142 words)

I went to Inari shrine with my friends last week. We wanted to throw a coin but it was too late to enter the shrine. Of course it was about 23:30. I paid a visit to shrine with my friend last week. We went to Inari shrine after part time job, so it was too late to enter the shrine. I had my hair cut and dye yesterday. I went to flat delight hair in Shimotori. It was my first time to go to the salon. The salon is good! They searved a cake and milk tea when I was waiting. The hairdressers are kind and friendly. So I like the salon. I and the hairdresser who cut my hair enjoyed talking. We talked about boys and girls...☆ The hairdresser is 33 years old, so he gave me some good advices or comments. I like my new hairstyle and the salon.

I participated in a homestay program in Minnesota last summer. This is my first time to go abrord, so I was excited and nervous. However, I like Minnesota soon. Minnesota has a lot of beautiful nature. There are so many lakes. I was surprised that there is a lake in my school!

State capital of Minnesota is St. Paul and the biggest city is Minneapolis and the population of Minnesota is 5,059,375. (2003) There are White American, about 88%, Black American, 3.5%, Hispanics and Asian American, about 3% and so on. There are many kinds of races.

I'll talk about St. Paul. The population of St. Paul is 287,151. There are many social facilities, for example, Minnesota State Capitol, History center, and Cathedral of Saint Paul is one of the biggest cathedral all over the world. My host family lives St. Paul.

I'll talk about Minneapolis. The population of St. Paul is 382,618. Minneapolis is modern city. We can see many high buildings there.

Mall of America is the biggest shopping mall in America. there are about 400 shops! We can enjoy not only shoppoing, but also aquarium, The Park at MOA, and movie theater. I went there theree times during my stay. It is next to the air port, so many people visit there.

I could spent a good life in Minnesota. I could enjoy my life in Minnesota. Minnesota makes me happy and gave me a lot of power. I want to visit Minnesota again!

Today's book is 'American life'.

Most people around the world know something about American life. We can see American movies on TV, listen to American music, and eat in American restaurants.

Of course, Americans are not all the same. The United States of America is a big coutry. There are many different ways of life. New York City is one of the most exiting and famous city in the world, but life there is not the same as life in a small American town. I saw the many faces of American life in this book.

Do you know how many people move to the U.S. every year? The answer is 750,000! Recently, many different kinds of people lived in the U.S. In 1798, more than 60% came from Britain, Ireland, Germany, and France. About 20% came from Africa, but they were slaves. Between 1880 and 1914, most immigrants cane from south and west of Europe. Today, most immigarants are from Latin America and Asia.

America is a big country. Americans loves their cars. There are 200,000,000 cars on the road. Only 5% of Americans catch buses and trains to work. In most states, American can drive when they are sixteen. Life without cars is difficult. Schools, stores, and work are usually a long way from home. When I visited the United States, I saw a lot of Japanese cars. When I saw them, I felt that Japan and America are close. In Montana, on some roads, you can drive as fast as you can. I want to go and drive there someday!

We can watch American movies in Japan. American movie-makers make about 570 movies each year. Not only American people but also people in many other countries love these movies.
Today, the name Hollywood means movies. Before 1910, Hollywood was only a small town near Los Angeles. Movie-makers moved there from New York because they wanted the Californian sun. Their job was easier with good weather.

There are many differences between American life and Japanese life. But I like both of them. I want to visit to America again.

Today's book is "FOOD AND DRINK IN BRITAIN".

I have never been to Britan but I know that tea is very popular in Britain. Coffee has became very popular in Britain recent years, but tea is still national drink.

In 1610, tea was brought from China to Europe. At first, it was very expensive so not many people could buy it, but by 1750 it was widly drunk in Britain. The traditional way of making tea is:

1 Boil some fresh cold water.

2 Put some hot water into the teapot to make it warm.

3 Pour the water away.

4 Put one teaspoon of tea-leaves per person, and one extra teaspoon, into the pot.

5 Pour boiling water onto the tea.

6 Leave for a few minutes.

7 Serve.

TOday's book is "Martin Luther KING".
Do you know him? His words, "I have a dream," is some of the most famous words in the history of the United State of America.
He is from Alabama and grew up in Atlanta. His family was not poor but they were black and in the South black people didn't have the same rights white people.
He experienced "segregation" in his childhood.

I went to YU-NO-KURA with my friend. It is getting colder and colder these days, so hot spring made us happy!

YU-NO-KURA is in Yamaga and we drove to there. We have a only simple map, so we lost our way sometimes, but we arrived our destination!

Actually, we wanted to ICHIBOKU-ISSO but we couldn't go in the Japanese-style hotel because TV coverage started there, so we went to YU-NO-KURA where is near ICHIBOKU-ISSO.

Its open-air bath is good. We could feel comfortable and relax.

After that, we went back to Kumamoto city. We went to Kaio-do but there were full. We had no reservation, so we went to Edoichi. We can have smorgasbord there. When we enter the restaurant, we were very excited! We found a loooooooot of sushi, yakiniku, fruits, cakes, pastas, salads, and desserts. It go without saying that we ate too much♪

Then, on our way to my house, he gave me a CD he made. There are many songs he selected. He think I'll like the songs. When I got back home, I listened the CD. Of course I like it...♪ At about 22:00, I went back home. I had a good time.

I and Akiko, one of my friend, are planing to hold a drinking party next week. We were classmates when we were high school students, so we became organizers! We called our friends of same high school and most of people will be able to come to the party☆
We want to decide a bar, so we met at youome-town and planed about it. After that, we talked about how we've getting along. She seemed to be happy because she is in good with her boyfriend. So I felt happy, too♪ But I also envy her...^_^;
Before we go back home, I wanted to buy a mascara, so we went to habita and I got a new one. According to its directions, if you use the mascara, you will be able to be Jessica Alba!*^^*
It is just directions, but it was tempting for me....

Mohandes Karamchand Gandhi was born in 1869 in Porbandar, in the west of India. He is Hindus.
His first job took him to South Africa, but it is difficult for Indians to live there because they are not white and Christian. One day, a police man threw Gandhi off a train because of his color. This changed him. He started to fight for the rights of Indians.
And then, he went back to India. He started to fight for independence from Britain. He wanted to change India's rulers but he also wanted to change Indians. He showed them a simple, holy way of life.
He died in 1948 but everyone know his name. People in many countries follow his idea today.

I talked with my friend at UNIQLO after we wolked yesterday.
One of my friend lost her key, so we all tried to find it! But we couldn't find it.
A new person came to wolk yesterday and it was his first time. He is same age as me, and there were four people who is 20 years old, so the conversation came to life♪
When I came to my wolk place first time, I felt lonly and I was worried about wether I can get along with other staffs or not, so we want to support him.

I like music and especilly listen to R&B and Japanese pops.
My favorite musician is Ne-Yo. I like all his songs, for example, "stay", "because of you", "sign me up", or "sexy love". I often listen to his music when I drive a car. I like Nathan these days. I bought his CD, "master piece", last month. He is only 19 years old but he sing well and sweetly.

My favorite musicians of J-pop are aiko, ELT, ayaka, kobukuro, ketsumeishi and so on. When I go to karaoke, I often sing these songs.

There are a lot of natures in Kumamoto. The water and the air are very clean. I have many favorite places in Kumamoto, for example, Kumamoto castle, Suizenji Park, and Mt. Aso. I often go to Aso with my friends. I went to the Aso shrine last week. Aso makes us relax and excited. Kumamoto castle was build by Kiyomasa Kato about 400 years ago. When I was a junior high school student, I went there and draw it. In spring, we can see many beautiful cherry blossoms. I also like downtown. There are many good places to shopping. I like R&B music and I've listened to Nathan these days.

Nathan in only 19 years old, but his voice, melody and music are very tempting.

His music is similer to Ne-Yo, Michel Jackson or Baby face. His voice and rhythm are very sweet.

His albam, masterpiece, was released on August 15. I bought this CD last month.

I recommend his music!

I went to the school festival in Kumamoto Gakuen University with my friend, Haruka.
We met at about 12 and looked around. We met many friends today. Dai gave us ice cream and Haruka bought potatos, so we sat a bench and ate them and talked little. Then we met Sawa, Mayumi, Hikaru etc, and we ate some other foods. I think I ate too much(-_-;)
I had a very good time but it was very cold today!

Recently, I have read PRISON BREAK. I borrowed 4 books of PRISON BREAK from my friend on Tuesday. Origine of PRISON BREAK is American drama. This story is bout prison breaking and we can see betrayal, enemy, and freedom. Main character wants to help his brother who is in prison, so he commits crime deliberrately and he is taken to the prison where his brother is commited. He is an architect and has a tattooed on his body. This tattoo shows the draft of the prison.

hospital

I've been in sick for few weeks. I went to the hospital yesterday. It was my first time to visit that hospital. I took my blood pressure and checked with the doctor. The doctor is a woman and she is very kind. She prescribed many pills for me. My temperture was 38.5℃ yesterday, so I decide to postpone today's plan of shopping in Fukuoka. I'm so sorry, Haruka. But I'll go to the school festival tomorrow!

Aso shrine

I went to Aso with Yukari and Haruka yesterday. We all have wanted to go to Aso shrine for few weeks because Aso shrine is famous for chances of love or marriage! We paid homage at the shrine and drew a fortune slip of love. I got a very good luck. (I want to believe this result....!)

Then, we walked around pine of love chance. There were some people who seemed to have same wish as we have. After that, we went to Juyful to have lunch. We found many Joyfuls on our way to Aso. We had lunch and talked there, but I was sick and I felt sick and fever more and more, so Yukari drove me to my home. Yukari and Haruka...I'm sorry... (>_<;)

I went out with my friend last week. He picked me up and drove around. We listened to the music which he recommended. Then, we ate yakiniku. It was nice. After that, we went to the restaurant to get just tapioca drink. Every Thursday, we can buy them half price at the store. Then, we went to karaoke. We used to go to karaoke last year. He can sing a song powerfully. We had a very good time at karaoke. Then, it was about 12:00a.m., we drove around a little and went back home. We talked a lot and he made me happy. I and my boyfriend broke up few weeks ago, but thanks to him, I could smile. So I appreciate him very much.

Part-time Job

I went to part-time job today. I went UNIQLO at about 7:30 a.m. today. The store opens at 10:00 a.m. but we have to prepare many clothes and clean before the store open.
We had a lot of resonable clothes or goods on this weekend, so there are many many many costomers!! Parking area was always full!!
I was tired but I like to work at busy time^_^v
